Setting rules for evolution
Silversea Cruises recently experienced a period of rapid growth, necessitating the expansion of its brand assets. This included introducing new colour schemes, redesigning formats across print and digital platforms, and implementing a variety of other creative solutions. Unsurprisingly, this evolution caused confusion among stakeholders, as many of these elements were absent from the current brand guidelines, making their update, revision, and distribution an urgent priority.
After a year of meticulous effort, countless revisions, and careful consideration, we successfully delivered the new Silversea Corporate Guidelines.
These updated guidelines offer a more comprehensive understanding of Silversea’s brand assets, addressing areas where daily operations revealed the need for greater clarity. The new framework provides tailored tools to ensure consistency and precision in brand application.
Given the project’s complexity, we rolled out transitional updates to highlight the key changes reflected in our latest corporate and digital brochures. This approach ensures stakeholders are informed while we continue the longer-term work of integrating these updates across multiple iterations until full completion.
The new brand guidelines are not merely a set of rules for application but a strategic framework for future evolution. They harmonise the brand’s growing complexity, establish clear pillars for consistency, and set the stage for its continued development. These applications extend beyond print to encompass video, digital campaigns, multimedia initiatives, and seamless campaign integrations, ensuring the brand’s presence is cohesive and impactful across all platforms.
